Microneedling facial treatment at Karina Naftaly's clinic in Ashdod

What microneedling is

Microneedling is a treatment in which tiny needles create controlled microscopic channels in the skin. This controlled action stimulates the skin's natural collagen-production path and, over time, supports improvement in texture, the look of surface scars and pores. It is not an instant fix but a gradual process that builds the skin layer by layer.

The variations I work with

  • Classic microneedling · focused work on texture, pores and surface scars.
  • RF microneedling · adds radio-frequency energy that supports firmness in deeper layers.
  • Gold microneedling · a premium variation with gold serums for a more radiant look.
  • Microneedling with exosomes · an advanced combination to support skin renewal.
  • Mesotherapy · delivering tailored actives into the skin with tiny needles.

How many sessions and how often

The intervals follow the collagen cycle, which takes about 4 to 6 weeks. Classic sessions are done every 4 to 6 weeks, and RF every 6 to 8 weeks. The number of sessions depends on age and goal: about 3 for maintaining younger skin, about 4 to 5 for skin with early signs of time, about 5 to 6 for more mature skin, and about 4 to 8 to improve the appearance of acne scars. After the series most women return for maintenance once or twice a year.

Not suitable during an active acne breakout, active herpes/cold sore, pregnancy, or isotretinoin use within the past six months. When in doubt we coordinate with your physician.

Frequently asked

How much does microneedling cost?
Israeli price ranges for 2026: classic microneedling roughly ₪800 to ₪1,500 per single session, lower per session within a series. RF microneedling roughly ₪1,200 to ₪2,500. Premium gold or exosome variations roughly ₪2,000 to ₪3,500. At my clinic in Ashdod the price includes consultation, a home kit and follow-up. The exact price is set after an assessment.
How often should microneedling be done?
The intervals follow the collagen cycle, which takes about 4 to 6 weeks. So classic sessions are done every 4 to 6 weeks, and RF every 6 to 8 weeks. After completing the series most women return for a maintenance session once or twice a year. Sessions that are too frequent do not improve the result.
Is microneedling painful?
With a topical numbing cream applied about 30 minutes before, most women report a sensation of light pricks and gentle warmth, no more than that. More sensitive areas are slightly more intense but tolerable. After the treatment there is mainly a warm, dry feeling that passes within 24 to 48 hours.
When are microneedling results visible?
A mild improvement in skin tone and hydration is felt in the first week. A noticeable improvement in texture and firmness begins to appear around 4 to 6 weeks after the second session in the series. The peak effect arrives 3 to 6 months after the final session, once the collagen-building process is complete. This is a treatment of patience, not an instant fix.
How many microneedling sessions are needed?
It depends on age and goal. For maintaining younger skin, a series of about 3 sessions. For skin with early signs of time, about 4 to 5. For more mature skin, about 5 to 6, usually with the RF variation. To improve the appearance of acne scars, about 4 to 8. I set the exact number at the assessment, based on your skin type and goal.
What is the difference between classic microneedling and fractional RF?
Classic microneedling creates controlled microscopic channels that stimulate collagen production, suited mainly to texture, pores and surface scars. RF microneedling adds radio-frequency energy that warms deeper layers and supports skin firmness. I sometimes combine both in one protocol. Full detail is in the comparison article on the blog.
