Frequently asked

What is a chemical peel and how deep is it?
A chemical peel applies professional acids that gently lift away a layer of dead skin cells and improve texture and glow. As a paramedical cosmetician I work with superficial to medium peels. Deep peels are for physicians only.
How often can a glow treatment be done?
A single glow treatment suits a pre-event need. For maintenance, a series of about 3, or one every 4 to 6 weeks. The glow shows within 24 hours and lasts about one to two weeks.
Is there redness after a chemical peel?
A gentle peel usually leaves only mild redness of 2 to 4 hours. I give aftercare instructions for the following days and SPF 50, which is especially important after a peel.
When is best to do a glow treatment before an event?
The ideal window is 3 to 5 days before the event, so the skin settles and looks its best. A new treatment on the event day itself is not recommended. We plan the timing together.
