Frequently asked

Difference between a regular and paramedical cosmetician for acne?
A paramedical cosmetician has recognised training that combines advanced technology with an understanding of skin biology. For acne-prone skin this allows a focused approach, ongoing support, and referral to a dermatologist when needed.
How many sessions for acne-prone skin?
Usually 6 to 10 sessions about two weeks apart, alongside a tailored home routine. The number depends on skin condition and other factors such as hormonal background and diet, which I review at the assessment.
Does it help post-acne marks too?
Yes. At the stage when the skin is calmer and there are no active breakouts, we can work on improving the appearance of marks and scars, usually with microneedling and tailored peels. This is a separate stage within the path.
Does acne worsen in Ashdod summer?
For some women, the heat, humidity and sebum load of Ashdod summer increase the tendency to breakouts. In that period I adjust the home routine and emphasise a non-comedogenic sunscreen. We discuss this at the assessment.
